Because the Grand Canyon is the only thing that exists in Arizona? No, seriously, I don’t understand this one at all.

I missed this reply the first time around. Let me clarify: I found this funny because I’ve lived most of my life in Arizona. Whenever this comes up with people who don’t live in or haven’t visited Arizona, they often ask me about The Grand Canyon. And cowboys. When I reveal that I live in the mountains, where there are trees, and it sometimes *snows*, I’m greeted with chuckles of disbelief.
